Buoy 10 Article

I know many of you that fish with me also fish on your own.  Here’s an article that I put together over at Fishwire.net that explains the ins and outs of moving with the tide at Buoy 10 on the Lower Columbia River.  It creates a scenario for those that might not be familiar with the fishery and the different progressions that take place during a fishing day.  Guessing rarely makes for good fishing, but an understanding of fish movement as it relates to tidal flows can make for some pretty good fishing on the Lower Columbia River.

It’s fun to do it yourself, but paying for a Charter when trying to learn to fish for Salmon out of Astoria, might be the best thing to do.
