Washington Fishing

Fishing on the Cowlitz River in Washington. Nice limit of Steelhead.

Washington is home to a very diverse range of cold water fishing opportunities. Four types of Salmon, two runs of steelhead, sturgeon, halibut, lingcod and plenty of water to play in.

I offer guided fishing charters from Seattle to the Puget Sound, to the Cowlitz River and the Columbia River. Each of these locations have their unique run timings and qualities that makes the fishery special.

Have a look around at our available charters and guide trips. If you have no idea, or are overwhelmed by all the options, I’d appreciate if you contact me. I’d be glad to walk you through the various options and fill you in on what may be the right trip for your situation.

Fishing licenses and tags are required when fishing Washington waters, so be sure to visit Washington’s Department of Fish and Wildlife Website for more information.

Check out the links below for more information on places to fish in the state of Washington.

Cowiltz River Fishing

One the of largest runs of Summer Steelhead in the state, plus a huge Fall Chinook and Coho run make this one of Washington’s great rivers.

Lewis River Fishing

The Lewis River offers me several weeks of fabulous Fall Chinook fishing during the year.  We also fish for Summer Steelhead at the end of June and into July. When this river is on, it is really on!

Klickitat River Fishing

In addition to boasting a legendary fall salmon fishing season, the Klickitat River is home to other salmon and steelhead opportunities throughout the year. This beautiful river holds some of my favorite Washington fishing.
